/INS. Invercote and Incada, the quality paperboards from Iggesund Paperboard, have gained added distribution in the UK via a distribution agreement with the merchants Antalis and Elliott Baxter. Iggesund is now taking yet another step and introducing the warehousing and sheeting of Invercote at a distribution centre in the UK.

/INS. SSAB has broadened its dimension program and maximum plate weight for its heavy thick plates*. Plates are now available up to 18 tonnes, which makes processing for a wider range of applications more cost-efficient. All steel grades are available in these new formats according to the respective dimension program.

/INS. Iggesund Paperboard is expanding distribution in the US making its flagship product Invercote available coast to coast. Increasing interest in Invercote’s unique properties from brand owners on the West Coast, and some key new business acquisitions made expanding west a natural next step.

/INS. Konecranes SMARTON® is a built-up, heavy-duty overhead crane for demanding processes, assembly, and maintenance use. SMARTON has a lifting capacity of up to 250 tons with a single trolley and up to 500 tons with two trolleys. The crane’s speed range is wide, and duty classes range from M3 to M8.

/INS. “We can do a lot of exciting things in an academic environment. /INS. How can we persuade schoolchildren and teenagers to loosen their grip on their smartphones and write by hand instead? Bernard Bouvet is chairman of the Union Professionnelle de la Carte Postale, (UPCP), an advocacy organisation for the postcard industry in France. He may not have all the answers but he is at least practising active resistance. In recent years UPCP has put both itself and postcards on the map by creating the writing week Semaine de l’écriture, which aims to teach schoolchildren the value of writing texts by hand. Iggesund Paperboard has supported the campaign since its inception by providing materials for the postcards used in the various writing activities.
