An expanded range and a focus on strengthening its business through international collaboration are supporting Stora Enso's strong growth in graphical boards. The use of the company's Aurocard board for the covers of IKEA's catalogues is a powerful example of this increasing market. This year 132 million IKEA catalogues have been printed and are forecast to rise by tens of millions within a few years.

Stora Enso enregistre une forte croissance dans le secteur des cartons graphiques grâce à une diversification de sa gamme de produits et à une coopération étroite au plan international. L'utilisation de sa qualité Aurocard pour la couverture du catalogue IKEA confirme de manière convaincante cette tendance à la hausse sur le marché des cartons graphiques. Cette année le groupe IKEA a fait imprimer 132 millions d'exemplaires de son catalogue et, selon les prévisions, le tirage devrait augmenter de plusieurs dizaines de millions dans les années à venir.

The Langnese-Iglo Micro-Baguette launched on the German market this spring is an excellent example of the new trend in smart packaging, where technology and design go hand in hand. The package won first prize in the TIDA 2003, Trayforma International Design Award competition organised by Stora Enso.
