Flere nye NMT 450 tjenester, der forventes udbudt i adskillige lande i 1997, vil være understøttet af den nye Benefon Sigma Gold NMT 450i mobiltelefon, der lanceres af det finske firma Benefon Oy.  Når de nye systemfunktioner iværksættes i nettet, vil telefonen give adgang til funktioner så som visning af nummer og navn på personen, der ringer op, angivelse af eventuelle beskeder, samt forenklet opkald af internationale numre. Derudover er den forsynet med et 1250 mAh NiMH standardbatteri, der muliggør op til tre timers taletid og op til fem dages standby, samt indbygget tavs vibreringsalarm.

Several new NMT 450 network services, estimated to be active in various countries starting 1997, will be supported by the new Benefon Sigma Gold NMT 450i mobile phone which is being introduced by the Finnish Benefon Oy.  As soon as the new system features are implemented into the network, the phone will give access to functions like number and name presentation of the person calling, indication of any waiting messages, and simplified international dialing. Further features are a 1250 mAh NiMH standard battery, allowing up to three hours of talk time and up to five days in standby position, and an in-built silent vibrating alert function in the phone.

Suomalaisen Benefon Oy:n markkinoille tuoma uusi Benefon Sigma Gold 450i -matkapuhelin tukee useita uusia NMT 450 -verkkopalveluja, joiden arvioidaan toimivan useissa maissa vuodesta 1997 alkaen. Uusia toiminteita ovat mm. tulevan puhelun numeronäyttö, saapuneen viestin symbolinäyttö ja automaattinen kansainvälisen suuntanumeron valinta. Lisäominaisuuksia ovat 1 250 mAh:n NiMH-vakioakku, joka mahdollistaa jopa kolmen tunnin puheajan ja viiden päivän valmiusajan, sekä puhelimeen sisäänrakennettu äänetön värinähälytys.

Plusieurs nouveaux services du réseau NMT 450, en cours de déploiement dans de nombreux pays pour l’année 1997, seront supportés par le nouveau téléphone portatif Benefon Sigma Gold NMT 450i. Son lancement par l’entreprise finlandaise Finnish Benefon Oy est en cours. Dès que les caractéristiques de ce nouveau système seront implantées au réseau, Sigma Gold permettra les fonctions telles que l’affichage du numéro et du nom du demandeur, l’indication évantuelle de messages en attente ainsi que la composition simplifiée des numéros internationaux. D’autres caractéristiques sont, par exemple, la batterie standard NiMH de 1250 mAh permettant une communication téléphonique de 3 heures et une position d’attente de 5 jours, ainsi que la fonction intégrée d’alarme vibrante silencieuse.

A fully-automatic refuelling system is today’s and tomorrow’s answer to yesterday’s manual filling stations. ‘In the past, people didn’t place as high a value on time-saving, environmental consciousness, or safety as we do today. Modern people demand a high standard of service. So these factors are the starting point for the development of the world’s first full-automatic refuelling system in service’, explained Anders Dahlquist, Marketing Manager of Autofill Europe AB. The Swedish technical development company is now launching the new refuelling system in various European countries. A German oil company has definitely decided to test the system and orders have already been received from several European oil companies, as well as from American Shell.

Demand for strength in vehicle radiators is increasing throughout the world, as is demand for environmentally-friendly production processes. The brazing technology developed for the manufacture of recoverable copper/brass radiators by Outokumpu Copper Strips is therefore increasingly sought-after, especially in South-East Asia. This environmentally-friendly method requires only moderate investment in new production plant.

Diese neue Produktreihe ergänzt die bereits über 350 Standard-Gehäuse umfassende Produktpalette des Unternehmens. Die neuen Schaltschränke werden jeweils in 13 Größen aus verschiedenen Kunststoffen wie Polycarbonat (PC), ABS und chemikalienbeständigem, glasfaserverstärktem Polyester (GRP) angeboten.  Eine besondere Eigenschaft der neuen Produktreihe Fibox CAB PC/ABS und CAB P ist die mit Scharnieren versehene innere Schwingtür, die eine leichte und sichere Montage von Druckknöpfen, Displays und Schaltern ermöglicht.

A range of cabinets for convenient installation of electric, electronic and telecommunication equipment is now being introduced by Finnish Fibox, one of the world's biggest plastic enclosure manufacturers. The range supplements the company's existing some 350 standard enclosures. The new cabinets are manufactured in 13 sizes and of plastic materials such as polycarbonate (PC), ABS and chemically resistant fibreglass reinforced polyester (GRP). A special feature of the Fibox CAB PC/ABS and CAB P range is the hinged internal swing-out door to facilitate easy and safe mounting of push buttons, displays and switches.

Piparkakku on vastaisuudessa yhtä itsestäänselvä herkku niin heinäkuun kesäkutsuilla kuin joulunakin. Tähän uskoo ainakin Annas Pepparkakor Tukholmassa ja tuo markkinoille ruskean piparkakun kesäasuisena Norjassa ja Suomessa. Pohjolan ulkopuolella piparkakku on ympärivuotinen herkku, jonka menekki kasvaa nopeasti. Pelkästään Yhdysvaltoihin laivataan joka vuosi 40 konttia. Kokonaisuudessaan tuotannon 2 100 tonnista runsas kolmasosa menee vientiin, jonka osuus kasvaa 20 prosentin vuosivauhdilla.

Den svenska pepparkakan har blivit en exportframgång och den största producenten Annas Pepparkakor i Tyresö säljer kakor till allt fler länder. Bara till USA skeppas varje år 40 containrar kakor motsvarande 400 ton. Totalt går en dryg tredjedel av produktionen på export och andelen ökar med 20 procent årligen.Pepparkaksbageriet, som uppges vara världens största, bygger därför ut kapaciteten med 50 procent, från 1 000 till 1500 kilo per timme. Detta sker genom att ta en ny helautomatisk ugnslinje i drift. Dessutom nyanställs ett antal medarbetare i bageriet.
