YOKOHAMA, Japan (AP) — Batteries in older Nissan Leaf electric vehicles are getting a new life as portable power sources that can be used to run gadgets on the go or deliver emergency power in disasters.

Shell Petroleum Company Limited, through its 100% owned subsidiary Impello Limited (“Shell”), has agreed to sell its home energy businesses, Shell Energy Retail Limited (SERL) in the UK and Shell Energy Retail GmbH (SERG) in Germany, to Octopus Energy Group.

Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. (Osaka Gas) announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Osaka Gas UK, Ltd. (OGUK), has entered into an agreement with Tree Energy Solutions (TES), a Europe-based large-scale green hydrogen and e-methane producer, to conduct joint studies on a wide range of e-methane-related subjects.
