Teknologia 19 fair presents employers in the industry
/ins Teknologia 19, the leading event in technology in the Nordic countries, will be held in Messukeskus Helsinki from 5 to 7 November. The event features current topics in the industry, such as robotics, artificial intelligence and digitalisation. Businesses will also showcase employment opportunities and various job descriptions at the fair.
The first day of the fair on 5 November is especially aimed at technology students and those looking for a new job. On the Employer of the Future day, the stands of exhibitors will have HR personnel and other company representatives with whom visitors can discuss various career options at the company. During the day, companies can conduct recruitment interviews, talk about their future recruitment needs or showcase different job descriptions within the company and their operating culture, for example.
Presenting Finland’s most prominent technology startups
The most interesting startup companies of the moment can be found in their own theme area. The companies involved are exhibiting, among other things, sensor technology and signal processing, software robotics, sensor systems and industrial drone inspections.
In addition to the theme area, startups can also be explored at the Teknologia 19 Startup Competition, the finals of which will be held at the fair on Wednesday 6 November. The winner of the competition is awarded a stipend of €10,000 donated by the Finnish Fair Foundation. Six companies are involved in the finals:
Delicode is a startup focused on machine vision and artificial intelligence applications. Its Signals product is an analytics service that uses machine vision to collect anonymous information about people’s movements and interactions especially for commercial and marketing purposes. | Delicode.com
The floor drain developed by Ensavetec offers solutions for new construction and line renovations where the bathrooms are remodelled. The floor drain recovers thermal energy from used shower water and utilises it to heat further shower water. | Ensavetec.com
Huoleti develops digital health and social services. The web-based platform offers tools that make it easier to talk about difficult issues and provides the patient’s loved ones with an easy way to support the patient’s everyday life. | Huoleti.com
Meluta provides technology development services in sensor technology and signal processing. The company’s special areas of expertise are acoustic and vibroacoustic measurements as well as generating business value from them through algorithms and analysis. | Meluta.fi
Skillgrower removes obstacles to learning by taking into account the individual needs of each learner, for example, by increasing the number of insights in studying and introducing meaning through a game-based approach. | Skillgrower.com
The product of VimAI is indoor localisation based on machine vision that can be used to create building-wide AR applications. The model enables new, digitally supported operating models in, for example, maintenance and design. | Vim.ai
