On site assistance for electronics
design verification clients world wide

Ikos Systems Inc., is forming a team of experts to provide customized on site assistance to users of their simulation and emulation products world wide. The team will implement customized support programs as an extension of the client's design group.
Education, application services, interface software and custom library development are also included in the program.

In addition to the USA based employees, the company is currently adding other specialists in Asia, and has already appointed personnel in Europe. Staffing is planned to total over 20 persons by the end of 1997, and will include nationals in several overseas locations, including Japan. Ikos makes the point that this new service is distinct from their traditional customer support 'hot line,' which will continue to be available.
The director of the consulting service, 37 year old Nader Fathi, states that, "These services are tailored to the user's needs, and can range from one month to several years in duration. Each project plan includes customer objectives, proposed solutions, stage objectives and success criteria." Fathi is formerly director of software support practices at Cadence Design Systems, and has over seventeen years experience in electronics design automation.
Ikos System Inc. specializes in the development and manufacture of language based software and hardware simulation and emulation tools.
