/INS.  Akzo Nobel India, a paint manufacturing company, reported a positive trend in the paints and coatings industry during fiscal 2022-23, driven by a decline in raw material prices from previous highs. In its latest annual report, the company projected that the paints and coatings industry in the country is set to reach Rs. one lakh-crore in the next five years, with the current size estimated at around Rs. 62,000 crore.

The state-of-the-art Robotic Shuttle Put Wall System by the US based company Berkshire Grey will automate and enhance and accelerate the warehouse operations in the 685,000 sq ft facility significantly.

/INS.  GKN Aerospace announced today the first delivery of F-35 Lightning II wheels and brakes assemblies serviced and maintained at its GKN Fokker landing gear facility in The Netherlands. This delivery marks the first shipset of its contract to service and maintain wheels, brakes and strut assemblies for the F-35 fleet in Europe.

/INS.  Maritime technology company Yara Marine Technologies, Artificial Intelligence application developers Molflow, and Chalmers University of Technology and social science specialists from Halmstad University and Gothenburg University have collaborated over 3 years to develop and trial an AI-based semi-autonomous voyage planning system. Initiated in August 2020, the Via Kaizen project explores how AI and machine learning can enable more energy-efficient voyage planning for ship operators.

/INS.  Tetra Pak is expanding its services to boost efficiency for food and beverage producers. The aim is to reduce loss in food production, from raw material to water usage and waste disposal. This comes as the company has been recognised by  Kepner Tregoe  with an award for Excellence. The recognition is for implementing problem solving methods in food packaging manufacturing.
