Thule HighWay:
New rear mount bike carrier
makes for better road safety

A fold-away bike carrier, approved by TÜV/GS in Germany, and that attaches to the vehicle's rear bumper, is among the latest new products from Swedish-based Thule, one of the world's leading manufacturers of load carrier systems. The company claims that, thanks to the raised mount position, the new Thule HighWay does not obscure the vehicle's rear lights or its rear registration plate.


The Thule HighWay can be used to transport up to three bikes, and is designed to take bikes of any size and model. It fastens to the vehicle with the help of a system of adjustable straps, and features a patented adjustment disc that makes it easy to determine the correct angle at which the carrier should be fitted, guaranteeing safe transportation and optimum attachment. The new bike carrier, which comes with a 3 year warranty, is easy to fold away and stow in the boot. Bikes can be locked to the carrier with the help of a cable lock that's available as an optional extra.
