Volvo Group and SSAB have signed a collaboration agreement on research, development, serial production and commercialization of the world’s first vehicles to be made of fossil-free steel. Volvo plans already this year to start the production of concept vehicles and components from steel made by SSAB using hydrogen.

First real-life operation of a stationary fuel cell by Bosch and Stadtwerke Bamberg Bosch and the Bamberg public utilities are for the first time using a stationary fuel cell to produce electricity and heat in a city district. The stationary fuel cell at the central bus station in Bamberg supplies more than 20 four-person households with climate-friendly electricity. The heat generated provides an adjacent bakery with heating and hot water. Bosch wants to invest a three-digit million euro amount in stationary fuel cells by the end of 2024.
