A new generation of saunas and steam rooms is now entering the Japanese market. The manufacturer, Tylö AB in Sweden, believes that its compact range will appeal, in particular, to the specific requirements of Japanese homes, where space is always at a premium.The installations also come in a wide range of designs and finishes. 

The compact product range covers three basic model groups. These are saunas, operating between 90-100°C(low humidity), steam-sauna in the temperature range 60-65°C at 40-45% humidity and steam-shower working at 50-55°C at 100% humidity. The new range is in addition to the company's existing extensive range of sauna, steam-sauna and steam products that suit larger establishments such as health clubs, hotels and swimming pool complexes.

Seeking partners
The company is also seeking new partners in Japan to sell the products under the Tylö trademark."It is of great importance to us that we find a suitable partner to distribute the products," marketing director, Per-Olof Lindberg explains.
Tylö offers a comprehensive range of support to its dealers including support with advertising costs, provision of marketing and sales promotion materials and discounts. The company already has established dealer networks in more than 60 countries world-wide.
In addition to its sauna range, the company also supplies cabins/cubicles, steam generators and control panels plus a comprehensive range of showers and accessories.
