A universal construction system integrated in one compact production line. This is the concept behindAcotec Combi, automated machinery for continuous prefabrication of concretewall modules and slabs. The equipment, from Acotec Ltd. in Finland, can be converted within less than 90 minutes to the production of all concrete elements necessary to build a house frame. Only three to four men are required to operate the machinery which has a maximum capacity of 80 m2 concrete elements per hour.

Top-of-the-line
The modular prefabrication system features the entire functionality of the manufacturer's previous three production lines. In addition to standard non-load bearing walls, Acotec's top-of-the-line machinery can produce both statically reinforced, load bearing walls and hollow core slabs. It also allows prefabrication of partition walls, retaining walls, fences, sound
barriers and landscaping products.
The maximum span of the concrete elements is 6.7 metres with a thickness of up to 250 mm. The area required for a complete production line is 1,600 square metres.
Compared to traditional prefabrication lines, the machinery is said to reduce noise levels by as much as 20-30 dB(A), enabling normal conversation close to the production line. Vibration is also claimed to be low enough to allow production without disturbing people in neighbouring buildings.
The machinery is designed according to standards laid down by the EU machine directive and is CE-marked.
