Increased information handling productivity and security, particularly for colleagues on the road. These are some of the advantages stated by Columbitech, a specialist company in wire-less computer communication, and portal company Linq, when announcing the conclusion of a long-term co-operative agreement. By combining products from both companies, they want to create an internationally interesting and common markets.

The target group is initially companies and expert knowledge practitioners who need secure access to and transfer of business-critical information. This is particularly relevant for mobile units such as telephones, palm-top computers and wire-less terminals.

Linq is already supplying its successful and internationally-respected LinqPortal and LinqMobilizer products for use in the web-based intranet solutions field. Technical development company Columbitech has from the start launched solutions for secure wire-less data communication to mobile units.
