Trelleborgs's new workplace matting Trell-Ergo-ESD (Electro Static Discharge) has been designed specifically for the electronics industry. In addition to ergonomic design, the matting discharges static electricity according to the manufacturer. Trell-Ergo is the first workplace matting of its type to gain approval from SP, Sweden's Testing and Research Institute. The matting also meets all the demands set by Ericsson's testing methods.

Kenneth Henriksson emphasizes that rubber sheeting and matting are important products for Trelleborg. "On the sheeting side, we have developed characteristics which are resistant to, for example, aggressive chemicals, oil and petroleum, as well as food sheeting which is taste and odour-free and resistant to animal fats. Our selection of rubber matting includes protective, entrance and workplace matting. We also have a number of standard products such as Teguflex compensators, i.e. elastic pipe connectors which absorb vibrations and thermal length fluctuations."
