Snickers is introducing a series of all-weather garments under the name Allweather, starting with trousers that protect against rain and that are also functional. "These are much more than ordinary rain clothes", says Per-Henrik Magnusson, Product Development Manager at the company. "Allweather clothes can be used at any time, but with the advantage of always giving protection if it should start to rain or become windy.

With the garment series now being launched, Snickers have received inspiration from some of the leisure clothes available on the market.
"Often a lot more energy is devoted to the design of these clothes", says Per-Henrik Magnusson, "but why should one cut corners when it comes to working clothes? Those who work outdoors in rain, wind and cold need functional garments that make work easier".
The aim of the development of the new Allweather series was to develop waterproof garments that at the same time were functional and comfortable.
"Few manufacturers make trousers that are both waterproof and comfortable and at the same time offer those functions needed for work", says Per-Henrik Magnusson. "Out Allweather trousers have all the product advantages that have made Snickers famous, such as knee protectors made from Cordura, trouser leg pockets with bellows, large back pockets, tool hangers, channels at the back, etc.
The jacket has a drawstring at the bottom edge, an adjustable hood and a water channel to stop water from penetrating, just to mention a few details. When worn on top of ordinary clothes, there is a practical through- opening, making the garment underneath easy to reach.
The Allweather series is also available in a lined winter version and the trousers are also available in a simpler, pull-on version.
The garments are certified in accordance with prENV 343 "Protection against bad weather". The resistance to water penetration is 3, where class 3 is the best.
