Invitation to the Swedish Steel Prize 2019

/ins  For the 20th time SSAB hosts the Swedish Steel Prize event on November 12-14, 2019. The Swedish Steel Prize is an international award for companies, institutions and individuals in the steel industry. Since 1999, it has been recognizing and rewarding those that have developed a method or product that fully utilizes the potential of premium steels.

Representatives from the media are invited to participate in the whole program and to a press brief in Oxelösund with representatives from SSAB Special Steels and in Stockholm with SSAB CEO and President Martin Lindqvist and Head of Research and Innovation Eva Petursson.

The finalists for the Swedish Steel Prize 2019 include four revolutionary design concepts that fully utilize the characteristics of premium steel within SSAB’s product range. This year’s finalists are Austin Engineering from Australia, Kampag from Brazil, Roofit.solar from Estonia and Shape Corporation from the USA. Read more about the finalists here.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony within the Swedish Steel Prize event on the evening of November 14.
