New airgas driven chemical injection pump safer and more precise

Injecting precise volumes of liquids and chemicals is critical to many industrial processes. Haskel International's latest CIP H series chemical injection pumps are specifically designed for this application, and because they are non- electrical, function safely in hazardous environments. Nineteen models cover delivery rates from 0.05 to 341 liters per hour, for process line pressures up to 1034 bar, producing what the manufacturer claims is the broadest range of air/gas driven injection pumps in the world.

The stainless steel body and choice of plunger and seal materials, suit the pumps to a wide variety of applications include the metering and injection of chemicals, corrosion inhibitors, odorants, dyes, lubricants, biocides, acids, etc. across a broad range of industries. Major users of the systems are offshore oil and gas platforms, refineries, power utilities; chemical, food and textile manufacturers.
The injection pump's output is determined by a reciprocating, variable stroke plunger in a fixed volume cavity, combined with an adjustable timer. Plunger and timer are actuated by compressed air or gas. The pump body is 316 stainless steel and the plunger material can be selected from either 316 ss, 17.4 PH (Titanium Coated), or Carpenter 20 alloy. Seal materials include graphite filled Teflon, Viton, Buna-N or Fluoraz.
Haskel International manufactures air-driven, high pressure pumps, gas boosters, air pressure amplifiers and related equipment at its facilities in Burbank, California, USA; and Sunderland, England. It distributes and supports these products via subsidiaries and company offices in the UK, Australia, Singapore, Germany, France, Hong Kong and Holland, and via distributers world wide.
