New LCD data/video projector
with multimedia capabilities
now being introduced

A new compact LCD data/video projector designed to meet the high performance needs of professional and educational presenters is now available in Europe. The ImagePro 7010 combines computer-generated and video projection capabilities in one lightweight unit offering simple plug-and-play connectivity. To meet anticipated demand, the Audio Visual Products Division of Dukane Corporation is
actively seeking additional European
representatives, including VARs and
distributors.

Features of the new projector include advanced poly-silicon active matrix LCD technology for distortion-free images; light output of 300 ANSI lumens; 2,000 hour lamp life; and on-screen menu text in six langages (English, German,
French, Spanish, Italian and Japanese) for quick and easy set-up adjustment.
According to Dukane, the ImagePro 7010 is the only LCD projector to offer a digital keystone adjustment control on the remote, to correct trapezoidal distortion. The company states that this feature, along with remote power zoom
and focus controls, allows rapid image adjustment from a wide range of projection angles in either ceiling mounted or tabletop use.
The projector is compatible with a comprehensive range of video and IBM or Macintosh data formats including HDTV, NTSC, PAL, SECAM, S-VHS, VGA, S-VGA and Macintosh. The unit weighs 9 kg (19 lbs), operates on 220-240 v and is competitively priced in all markets. Optional carrying and shipping containers are available.
The new projector is one of 31 units scheduled for side-by-side comparison in the Projection Shoot-Out, a popular event at the Photokina exposition in Cologne. "We are confident that the brightness and picture quality of our
ImagePro 7010 will demonstrate that it is a strong competitor to units of similar or higher price," said Elizabeth Fiden, president of Dukane's Audio Visual Products Division. "Its compact size, light weight, affordable price and desirable features will help resellers and distributors satisfy the requirements of customers in the sales, training, demonstration and educational fields."
Local support for European customers includes product inventory in the Netherlands, ensuring rapid delivery, and a European service center that reduces service time.
