Launch:Medica, Düsseldorf20-23 NovemberSunnex Stand A40 in Hall 14Fine lighting at affordable prices. That is the idea behind the new MedicaLight product line from the Swedish Company Sunnex. The company says that it represents one of the widest product ranges on the market, from desk lamps for doctors, to special lighting for medical examinations and minor surgical procedures. 

"The Medica line is the natural evolution of over thirty years' experience in developing special lighting, mostly for industry and other demanding applications," says Tom Corneliusson, head of Sunnex Europe. "We are building on the products, experience and collaboration we have established over the years, and shaping them into a complete product range."

One example is MedicaLight HPW, an intense 50-watt examination lamp with a cool-beam reflector. Despite the high power and the fact that around 70 percent of the heat generated are retained in the lamp, the lamp housing remains relatively cool.
The smooth, rounded shape is also designed to make the lamp easy to keep clean, since it does not gather dust.

Sunnex was founded in 1972 and is an industrial company that specialises in special lighting and vibration damping technology. The company is represented in 35 countries and its largest markets are the US, France and Germany. The company recently acquired the US medical lighting company Lighting Technology Systems (LTS).
