This innovative new product includes all the technology necessary to establish telecommunications capability quickly and easily in remote, difficult-to-access areas or where existing telephone networks have been knocked out by natural disasters or destroyed in war zones.

SWE-DISH Satellite Systems was on Thursday night, September 5th, given the "Excellent Swedish Design" award at a prize ceremony at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Sweden. The award was given for the satellite system IPT Suitcase, designed by Tor Bonnier and Lars Hofsjö - Reload Design.

SWE-DISH Satellite Systems has been awarded a contract from the US Department of Defense to a value of $18 Million for mobile satellite communications equipment. The products which will be supplied during a 12 months period, are to be used for transmission of video, data and voice content from anywhere in the world.
