Versatile pick hammer
combines compactness with punch

The latest medium weight pick
hammer from Atlas Copco Berema
takes advantage of the need
for a versatile mid-range machine.

The TEX 9 lies in the middle range of the company's hammer range. Based on well-established performance criteria, this model is suited to a range of construction work. Applications include light demolition work, digging, chopping, horizontal and upright applications or creating channels and holes in concrete walls.

Compact and slim
Ingemar Johansson, Atlas Copco Berema's Technical Development Manager, points out the importance of good balance to a machine of this type. "It is compact, slim and builds upon the technology that the company has established." It measures less than 500 mm in length, making it one of the most compact in its weight class.
With environmental and health considerations in mind, the TEX 9 is equipped with one of the most effective silencers in its class according to the company. Also, the air-cushioned piston technology is an integral part of the TEX range that contributes to reduced operator strain.
In addition, this model, as does others in the range, conforms to international standards which are a mark of quality and reliability.
