Profilo commerciale e storico
La TagMaster AB sviluppa, costruisce e immette sul mercato prodotti automatici per l'identificazione (ID), basati sulla tecnologia delle microonde, che trovano applicazione in tutte quelle situazioni in cui l'efficienza e la sicurezza sono fattori prioritari. L'azienda è stata fondata solo nel 1994, ma i suoi attuali manager sviluppano e immettono sul mercato sistemi d'identificazione basati sulle microonde fin dalla metà degli anni ottanta.

I prodotti
Il prodotto leader è un sistema a microonde della terza generazione, Confident, basato su nuovi brevetti. Il sistema èstato ideato soprattutto per il controllo di persone e veicoli in stazioni di transito automatiche senza contatto, e per applicazioni nell'automazione e distribuzione industriale. Confident è il primo sistema d'identificazione basato su microonde che utilizza tessere formato carta di credito, e che accoppia facilità d'impiego e funzionalità ad elevati standard di sicurezza.

L'azienda
La TagMaster AB ha circa duemila azionisti ed è quotata nell'Innovationmarknad (il mercato delle innovazioni svedese) di Stoccolma. La sede centrale si trova nel parco tecnologico Electrum di Kista, a nord di Stoccolma.
Per lo sviluppo e la produzione del nuovo sistema Confident, la TagMaster ha collaborato con una grande azienda giapponese di componenti elettronici, attiva nel campo dei sistemi d'identificazione basati su microonde da dieci anni. La TagMaster AB è membra dell'AIM (Automatic Identification Manufacturers), con filiali di distribuzione in numerosi paesi europei, in Asia e negli Stati Uniti./ins
