SWE-DISH Satellite Systems was on Thursday night, September 5th, given the "Excellent Swedish Design" award at a prize ceremony at Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, Sweden. The award was given for the satellite system IPT Suitcase, designed by Tor Bonnier and Lars Hofsjö - Reload Design.

For the nineteenth year, a jury composed of members of the Swedish design industry's professional organizations has chosen examples of good Swedish design to receive the prestigious Excellent Swedish Design Awards. SWE-DISH was awarded in the industrial design category for its revolutionary satellite link, IPT Suitcase.

This is a splendid example of what an industrial designer can contribute. The designers have succeeded in giving this product a compact and individual identity which will probably make it stand out from its competitors.
