The Tango castor success rolls on

Two years ago, Finnish company Manner Castors launched the trolley castor Tango, which proved to be a market success. Now this castor family has been extended by a little brother, diameter 100 mm, and an antistatic castor alternative. As for its big brother, which has an 125 mm diameter, the new castor is specifically designed for trolleys used in rehabilitation centres, institutional kitchens and public premises, for example. Manufactured from glass fibre reinforced nylon, the castor is characterised by low rolling friction, good corrosion resistance, silent running, and an attractive design.

Duesseldorf October 18-21, 2000
Hall 5, stand K40

Due to its low rolling friction, the Tango castor has become popular in working environments with high demands for reliability, such as in the food industry and hospitals. The materials used in the castor also make it suitable for moist and wet surroundings.
The castor is equipped with a brake mechanism that prevents skidding and swivelling. The brake pedal works within the turning radius of the castor, so avoiding contact damage to people and nearby walls or equipment. The castors and brake pedals are available in a variety of colours.
The castor is easy to mount thanks to several fastening alternatives. Single bolts, rectangular top plates or various types of tube expanders can be used. The castor can be supplied with treads of elastic rubber, soft or hard thermoplastic rubber, or antistatic thermoplastic.
The product family is the result of a long process of development which included contributions from external specialists on industrial design.
At the RehaCare fair in Duesseldorf between October 18 to 21 the castors will be on display plus a new toe protective device that is recommended for use, for example, in service platforms according to European castor standards.
