Business idea
Reterm is a knowledge company whose business idea is to be a system integrator of complete business solutions based on mobile data. The company develops supplies and maintains full-coverage mobile data systems which are integrated with the customer's existing computer environments in order to rationalise the customer's field service, sales and support.

Market
The company focuses on the sales and service sector and builds its systems and solutions by using standards in hardware and software as far as possible; this gives users freedom of choice and flexibility. Reterm has chosen Windows as its user interface. The aim is to make the applications as easy to use as possible. The mobile computer solutions are completely independent of the type of network used for communication. Reterm's personnel have more than ten years experience of mobile computing applications.



Services
The company operates as a full-coverage system integrator with responsibility for every part of a mobile data system, comprising consulting, integration, workshops, testing, implementation, training, 24-hour service, and support.

Products
From the start in 1990, Reterm products that are installed in a mobile environment have radio interference suppression, as well as being EMC tested and approved. The knowledge base of the company derives from many years' experience of using mobile data to handle radio, data and telecommunications. The product range includes radio-interference-suppressed mobile data solutions and mobile data systems which increase the efficiency of customers' service and sales.

Product development
When developing new products, Reterm collaborates with leading suppliers in the mobile data field. One of Reterm's main products, ServIT, was developed in Windows NT, 32-bit, and includes the Oracle Mobile Agent. ServIT was developed by Reterm and is marketed in collaboration with Ericsson, Oracle and RAM, one of the world's largest mobile operators.

Distribution
Reterm products are sold and distributed not only by the company itself but via major national/international resellers and via partners in the radio and telecoms market.

Corporate information
The company, which is in an expansion phase, turns over around SEK 20 million and currently has 14 employees at its offices in Solna, Stockholm. Reterm was established and is owned by its Managing Director Robert Ekman.
