New air control nozzles conserve air and reduce noise

Compressed air is costly and often in short supply in manufacturing plants. According to US company, Spraying Systems Co., their 707 and 727 series air control nozzles can cut the annual consumption of air by up to 55%, compared with open pipes, and reduce noise levels by up to 60%, depending on the model. Applications for the nozzles include surface drying, product cooling, air knife cutting, and material cleaning and conveying, in a broad range of industrial processes.

The 707 WindJet nozzle produces a round spray pattern of compressed air that converges into a single stream to create a high impact, narrow jet. The multi-channel 727 WindJet nozzle, is designed for applications requiring a targeted blast of high impact air in a controlled fan pattern. Users can select from nozzles with different air flow capacities for each model. The 707 and 727 are manufactured in either ABS plastic, aluminum or polyphenylene sulfide; and additionally in stainless steel in the case of the 707.
The company also produces a variety of permanently mounted air lances for heavy duty applications, and a range of mounting manifolds for controlled, uniform air distribution. Other products include nozzles for liquids and steam, and it is claimed that the company's entire product range totals some 19000 items. 1300 application drawings are on file for customer reference
