Adjustable and chockproof sight
on the American market

A Swedish manufacturer is just about to introduce two new advanced pin sights on the American market. According to Detowis, it is easy to make very precice adjustments and the sights is said to be absolutely chockproof. The sight is aimed at the quality-minded 3D and hunting segments of archery, with the manufacturer aiming to set new standards for the two huntingareas.

This sight will adapt to any archer´s shooting style due to the total micro adjustability of the High Precision Adjustment System, HPA, says the manufacturer. The Detowis designed HPA-key (pat pend.), a combined hex wrench and adjustmenttool, will set all functions on the sight. Five true microtunable sightpins with indiviual settings are made to be very easy to adjust. The aim with this sight is to go one step further to secure the sight from the high vibrations associated with today´s speed bows.
The manufacturer has developed two versions of the sight.
The Pro Hunter Precision 3D model has a 45° slanted sight bar that will accomodate tight pin settings for today's bullet bows. The Pro Hunter Sight has been designed in a more traditional style with a perpendicular and shorter sight bar and smaller mounting block to give a lighter overall weight.
All sightpins have individual lockscrews. The sightmounting block has two tracks with different heights for choice of line of sight as well as an optional bow quiver holder. The sight bolts securely to the mountingblocks duo-track system. All metal parts are made of aluminium and stainless steel. Bolts and screws are cromated to withstand corrosion.
The standard version has very fine pins with 6/32" threads designed with the 3D archer in mind. The clear lexan lowprofile pin guard will barely be seen by the shooter, though it protects the sightpins and transmits light for low light hunting situations.
A TruGlo pin version will be available for hunting at dusk or dawn. The sight blocks for the Tru Glo pins are lasercut from transparent lexan to enhance the light gathering feature.

The Swedish bowhunter and IBEP instructor Anders Gejer, who has been fieldtesting the sight says: The sight will be a strong companion in the woods thanks to the exactness that the pins can be adjusted and because of the durability of the sight. For a person who doesn't like to fiddle with the gear in the field these sights will facilitate the hunting. I use the TruGlo version for hunting and the finer steelpins for 3D./ins

The sight comes complete with HPA-key, 8/32" mounting screws. The Pro Precision 3D model comes with five steel sight pins. The Pro Hunter Sight in the basic version comes with four steel pins, the Truglo pin version is complete with four TruGlo pins. The sights are made according to AMO standards.
