Increased flexibility with new crane system

By bringing together two separate production programmes, MTH Constructor can now offer a total system of new cranes for materials handling. The system is based on modular construction and optimising work areas to offer the customer a cost-effective alternative.

The new crane system from MTH Constructor consists essentially of twin-boom cranes falling into two basic types for light and heavy goods. The light goods cranes lift up to 300 kg, while the pallet crane can lift up to 3 tonnes. Both basic types can travel in straight lines, but the pallet crane can also turn corners.
The cranes have higher performance than before, and the smaller version, in particular, has increased capacity. The light version is designed for use in restricted spaces, which means it can be used in, eg, spares stores, or where extra high performance is required.
The heavy version can handle Europa-pallets and for example car bodies, and can also be used with conventional forklifts or hauling equipment. Height can vary from 6 to 32 m.
MTH Constructor is part of the Constructor Group, one of the world's largest companies dealing with materials-handling solutions. Because the company's new crane series is equipped with the Siemens S7 control system and the new CSMS software, operational reliability is claimed to be high.
