New range of enclosures for protection of electronic equipment
The Finnish company, Ensto Control haslaunched a new range of plasticenclosures, called Ensto Cubo O. Being the latest member of the company's wide range of plastic and metal enclosures, the series is said to be the world's first to comply to all important standards and safety regulations, including the latest Cenelec regulations.
"The extended Ensto Cubo series represents the most comprehensive range of enclosures on the market, which facilitates the choice of a suitable enclosure, irrespective of application. The products were developed to meet present and future customer requirements, resulting in a highly flexible and user friendly product which complies both with the highest technical standards and the latest design trends", says Johnny Lindström at Oy Ensto Control Ab in Porvoo, Finland.
The object of the enclosures is to shield delicate electronic, electrical or pneumatic equipment from ambient stresses, moisture, etc. Injection moulded out of recycable grey or transparent polycarbonate or ABS as standard, the new Ensto Cubo series is available in 7 standard sizes ranging from 200x200 mm to 400x600 mm, with the latest moulding technology being applied to secure a high IP degree of tightness.
Flexible design
The dimensions of the enclosures are compatible to most applications on the market. Due to their flexible design, they can be customized according to special requirements. Small and medium sized series can be machined with CNC-controlled devices and, for large series, parts in the injection mould can be exchanged to allow for cutouts, etc.
The enclosures can also be shielded by coating the inside with a conductive layer of environmentally safe, water soluble dispersent. Examples of other special treatments are pre-assembly of electro-mechanical components, colouring, and printing of logotypes, instructive texts or pictures.
Also included in the Ensto Cubo series is a wide range of enclosures and cabinets in thermoplastics, aluminium, sheet metal and stainless steel. They are available in a large number of standard versions, but can also be customized according to individual requirements./ins
