The new TEX 05P from Atlas Copco Construction Tools is a lightweightdesign that builds on the company's established range of versatile chipping hammers.

The TEX 05P is suitable for a wide range of small size jobs mainly in renovating and structural alteration work such as chipping concrete, masonry and plaster, roughing, cleaning, hole-making and chasing.

Exhaust deflector
One of the main features of the design is a new exhaust
deflector that improves the working environment for the
operator, explains Ingemar Johansson, technical manager, pneumatic equipment at Atlas Copco Construction Tools.

The TEX 05P replaces the existing TEX 5 model which has
proved to be a reliable lightweight hammer within the
construction industry for a variety of small jobs.

With an overall length of 380mm the 5.5 kg hammer has an
impact frequency of 2750 blows per minute. The hammer can be supplied in a practical, robust carrying case, that includes chisels, air-oil and short length hose.
